Greg and his wife, have been the proud owners of their 3 year old family dog, Romeo, since he was a puppy. Since the couple works fulltime each day, Greg wondered how Romeo spent his “alone” time, as every dog owner wonders more than a few times throughout his or her own day. Greg says, “Romeo usually stays in his bed for the majority of the day. However, one day from work—about 45 minutes away—I noticed that Romeo wasn’t in his bed. Even after 20 minutes of checking my Blackberry, I still did not see him anywhere in the house. I then called my neighbor, who has a key to our apartment, and asked him to check on Romeo.”

The neighbor found that somehow Romeo had gotten out of the couple’s backyard and was running loose around the parking lot—no doubt, a dangerous place for Romeo. Thankfully, the neighbor was able to catch the very lucky Romeo and put him back in the apartment. He then checked the backyard for any holes under the fence that might have aided in Romeo’s escape. But because there weren’t any, it was hypothesized that the gardener had accidentally left the gate open. It was just a common mistake, but it could have had devastating consequences if not for MobileCamViewer, the quick thinking of Greg, and of course, the help of a trusted neighbor.
