Situation and Solution:

"I’ve owned and operated a Mobil gas station and convenience store for the past seven years. For the majority of that time, I’ve had a Dedicated Micros multi-camera DVR installed that allowed me to watch surveillance video on the Internet; however, about a year ago I learned about MobileCamViewer, which allows me to view and control my surveillance system on my cell phone. After doing some research, I found that the price was affordable and I decided to invest in the software.

For the past few months I’ve been accessing my surveillance system from my Blackberry Flip using MobileCamViewer. Being able to monitor my business using my cell phone is definitely a big plus compared to the standard Internet network system. I do not have to be close to a computer and I’m able to monitor my business when I’m travelling, shopping, or spending time with my family.

All of my employees are aware that I have this technology, and, as a result, I have peace of mind knowing that I can keep an eye on the business no matter where I am. My employees know they are being watched, which makes them do their jobs more efficiently and effectively. Employee theft is a big issue for convenience store owners, so having a complete monitoring system in your pocket definitely helps to control the problem.

MobileCamViewer is both easy to use and reliable. The system works great and the installation was simple and didn't give me any problems. MobileCamViewer allows for easy access to my DVR with just the click of a few buttons, and I can switch between cameras very easily. The video updates quickly enough for me to be able to see the live picture, and the quality is sharp enough so that I can see even the small details.

During the whole time I’ve used the software I have not had a single issue. It is always available as long as there is a cell phone connection available. I appreciate this program and definitely would recommend MobileCamViewer to anyone who has surveillance needs."
